On Alert strives to equip individuals with an ability to recognize, assess, and deal with potentially dangerous situations and people.

Most courses are hands-on and provide the opportunity to explore physical strengths and limitations.  By process of elimination individuals learn which techniques work best "for them", regardless of their age, level of fitness or physical ability.

Similar to first aid and CPR, the idea behind learning and practicing self-defense techniques is to be mentally prepared and equipped with tools for prevention before attack occur.

The training encompasses all ranges of confrontation from verbal to deadly physical.  Everyone can benefit from this type of preparation.

On Alert advocates self-protection, not violence.

Pre-registration for all classes is required.

To insure our high quality of instruction, class sizes are limited and on a first-come-first-serve basis.
